These are the often repeated words of Prince Amleth, who witnesses his bastard uncle Fjölnir kill his father and abduct his mother. The Witch and The Lighthouse were highly original and unusual period films. In his third feature, Robert Eggers turns Norse mythology into a Viking action epic. The resulting film is entertaining, well-acted, visually stunning, but a bit silly, to be honest.
