When a technical malfunction occurs on the first commercial lunar shuttle, traumatised pilot Ted Striker must step up and save the day and win his girl back, again. David Zucker, Jim Abrahams, and Jerry Zucker are not involved in the follow-up to their comedy classic Airplane. This weak sequel offers more of the same old gags, some uninspired new ones, and some lazy scifi parody of Star Wars and 2001: A Space Odyssey. William Shatner's extended cameo is the highlight.
