When the company's private jet crashes somewhere in the Gulf of Thailand, skilled but socially awkward strategist Linda and new CEO Bradley are the only survivors. On a remote island, their professional hierarchy is reversed, as Linda turns out to be a skilled survivalist. Sam Raimi's darkly comic survival thriller gets off to a terrible start. The introduction to the workplace dynamics is cringey, unfunny, and clichéd, with characters who are all extremely broadly drawn. Things improve somewhat on the island, although both Linda and Bradley remain thoroughly unpleasant throughout the film. Damian Shannon and Mark Swift's screenplay borrows more than a little from Cast Away and Triangle of Sadness, except I that I couldn't find much of a point to their endeavour. Raimi adds some trademark gruesomeness to the proceeding, but the story loses all plausibility in the final third.
