Greenland was a dumb but surprisingly enjoyable disaster movie. The sequel is poorly written and laughably stupid throughout its runtime. Five years after a catastrophic comet strike devastated Earth, the Garrity family and other survivors are forced to leave the safety of their Greenland bunker. Luckily, there are numerous motorised lifeboats, all stocked with supplies, stranded on the nearby beach. It isn't a problem that they run out of fuel while crossing the Atlantic, because they can simply drift the remaining 5,000 km and make landfall exactly where they need to — not in mainland Europe, Scotland, or Ireland, but in Liverpool. They discover a Europe with plenty of fuel, food, and drivable roads despite constant electromagnetic storms, earthquakes, comet showers, and, you know, the collapse of civilisation. It's a surprise that any part of Earth remains inhabitable, because whenever the Garrity family passes through an area, everything is immediately destroyed, and anyone who is with them faces almost certain death.
