Private investigator Honey O'Donahue investigates a series of mysterious deaths in Bakersfield, California. Her search leads her to a charismatic preacher, as she uncovers corruption, violence, and a personal entanglement. Following the dismal Drive-Away Dolls, the second part of Ethan Coen and Tricia Cooke's lesbian B-movie trilogy offers no improvement. The film is once again delightfully short, but it features broadly drawn characters, weak attempts at humour, and a screenplay that is all over the place. Margaret Qualley's PI character is not believable for one second.
