Signe becomes jealous when her boyfriend Thomas gains recognition as an artist. Desperate for attention, she deliberately harms herself to attract sympathy and fame. Kristoffer Borgli's pitch-black comedy gets off to a great start as its two self-obsessed young protagonists vie for attention with hilarious results. As Signe's need for recognition leads to disturbing physical and psychological consequences, the story becomes increasingly cynical, disappointingly repetitive, and less engaging. Nevertheless, Kristine Kujath Thorp gives a very fine performance.
