A bank clerk processing a painful breakup sets off on a winter holiday in the Alps, but accidentally ends up on a plane to a beach resort in Rhodes, Greece. Without suitable luggage or any money, he must improvise to get by. Risto Jarva's popular romantic comedy has dated badly since I last saw it over 40 years ago, and I found very little of it funny now. The premise has potential, although many of the details about the flight, the room sharing, or the lack of money make no sense. Despite a nice array of characters, the film ends up far too long and monotonous, with a breakfast egg gag and a mystery lady fantasy scenes repeated ad nauseam.
