The disillusioned UK Prime Minister Sam Clarke and the newly elected US President Will Derringer do not see eye to eye. When Air Force One is shot down and they are presumed dead, the two must forge an unlikely alliance. This passable buddy action comedy presents a high concept and unites two charismatic actors, but doesn't really give them a proper script to work with. The two heads of state make their way through Europe, they bicker and bond, and engage in occasional gunfights. The villain is a charmless Russian weapons dealer, allpowerful and entirely without a motive. There are some funny lines along the way, but not consistently enough.
