A successful fashion designer leads a double life as a prostitute named China Blue. She intrigues two men, a sexually frustrated married man and an unhinged street preacher. Upon its release, Ken Russell's film was severely cut to receive a decent rating. I don't know his original vision, but the end product is a poorly scripted and badly acted erotic thriller with sleazy sex scenes. Kathleen Turner gives a gutsy performance, the rest of the cast are awful.
