Three middle-aged friends from New York who have lost their mojo embark on a two-week cattle drive from New Mexico to Colorado. This is an enjoyable but long and predictably life-affirming comedy about men who must confront their insecurities in order to rediscover the spark. Jack Palance won an Academy Award for his amusing performance as the tough trail boss Curly. Followed by City Slickers II: The Legend of Curly's Gold in 1994.
