In mid-1960s Chicago, Kathy marries Benny, a hot-headed newcomer to the Vandals Motorcycle Club. What begins as a tight-knit group of friends enjoying weekend rides transforms into a violent crime gang. Jeff Nichols' nostalgic exploration of counterculture was inspired by Danny Lyon's 1968 photo book, which chronicled the people involved in the Outlaws Motorcycle Club. This is a well-staged and entertaining drama, even if the story doesn't really offer any surprises. The three leading actors offer some questionable vocal performances and/or accents.
