Emily, whose late husband left her in financial straits, befriends a local recluse who could be evicted from his shack on Hampstead Heath. Robert Festinger's script was inspired by the real-life case of Harry Hallowes, but really this is just a cheesy and formulaic story about a sunset affair. There is some romance, comedy, drama, a court case, and a cast of characters who are all very either/or. It's all set in a fictional version of England we know from other films.
