Kelly, Casey, and Petronella, members of the all-girl rock band The Kelly Affair, move to Hollywood to seek fame but are drawn into a world of sex, drugs, and rock 'n' roll. Russ Meyer's cult movie is certainly unique. It is intermittelty entertaining, sexy, groovy, weird, and silly. The story and its structure have some parallels to Quentin Tarantino's Once Upon a Time in Hollywood. The songs by Stu Phillips rock hard. Scripted by Roger Ebert, who was better known as a film critic.
