Bea and Ben go on a date that ends on a sour note. Sometime later, they attend the same wedding in Sydney and agree to fake a relationship to ease the pressure from their families and friends. Will Gluck's painfully formulaic romantic comedy embraces every cliché you can possibly think of. He sends two ridiculously good-looking people to a gorgeous location, where they bicker but fall in love in spite of the lies, misunderstandings, humiliations, her overbearing parents, and two horny exes. The camera adores the bodies of its two stars, which is probably good because Sydney Sweeney cannot act to save her life.
