Borat: Cultural Learnings of America for Make Benefit Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan

Director: Larry Charles
Cast: Sacha Baron Cohen, Ken Davitian, Luenell, Pamela Anderson, Bob Barr

An original mockumentary comedy about a Kazakhstani journalist and his travels across the US and A. The blatantly racist, sexist and anti-semitic character pushes all the right buttons and reveals the alarming indifference and unspoken prejudice of the people he meets, who incidentally think he’s for real. It’s an uneven collection of vignettes, some of which are hilarious while others feel scripted or just plain awkward. The character made its first appearance on Cohen’s TV show.
