When settlers are terrorised in the frontier town of Silverado, four men rise to stand against a ruthless rancher and the crooked sheriff on his payroll. Lawrence Kasdan's third film is a very conventional but highly entertaining Western, which almost embraces the clichés of the genre. The cast is amazing.
