Brian Cohen is an ordinary man who is born next door to Jesus Christ on the same day. As a grown man, Brian is caught up in insurgency against the Romans and attracts a devout following despite his resistance. This hilarious Monty Python comedy, which was controversial at the time, offers satirical and scathing commentary on religious fanaticism. Some of its scenes have become iconic.
