Lucy is a successful New York City matchmaker who operates in a world where men are judged by their height and salary, and women by their age and beauty. Lucy finds herself caught between two men: her broke ex-boyfriend and a wealthy financier. Celine Song's cynical take on modern dating culture may as well be set on another planet, because I could not relate to this universe or its vain and vacuous characters. This is a romantic comedy by definition, but there isn't one funny line anywhere in the film. Perhaps it fits the bill instead by being boring and utterly predictable.
