This poignant comedy-drama is the final collaboration between Woody Allen and Mia Farrow before their much-publicised break-up, and the script contains authentic but uncomfortably autobiographical elements. The story of messy relationships is shot with a restless handheld camera and features clever, documentary-like direct-to-camera interviews. The performances are excellent.
