Due to a case of mistaken identity, a man named Slevin finds himself caught between two rival crime bosses, a legendary hitman who appears to work for both, and police detectives investigating them all. Paul McGuigan's darkly comic crime film wouldn't exist without Pulp Fiction. Jason Smilovic's script weaves a twisty, violent crime story, filling it with characters who engage in smart-alecky banter. While the movie is unoriginal, its plot is too clever by half, and everything is wrapped up too neatly, it still provides decent entertainment for 110 minutes.
