One year after the events of Final Destination, a young woman has a premonition of a horrific highway pileup. She saves a number of people, but discovers that Death is coming for them anyway. The first of (so far) five sequels doesn't add anything new to the formula. The road accident that kicks off the action is a ridiculous series of gore and explosions. The sole survivor from the original returns, but the new characters are so stupid and infuriating that their imminent deaths barely warrant a shrug.
