This inventive and intriguing but slightly dated science fiction film from New Zealand starts like I am Legend, 28 Day Later, and the TV show The Last Man on Earth. A scientist wakes up to find that he may be the last person left on Earth after something went wrong with Project Flashlight, an experiment he was involved in. As he looks for other survivors, he goes through the highs and lows of being alone in the world. The final shot is memorable.
