As he enters the 7th grade, Greg Heffley develops an immediate crush on the new girl in school. The follow-up to Diary of a Wimpy Kid and the adaptation of the second book in Jeff Kinney's series puts the supporting characters on the sidelines and concentrates on the fractious relationship between the two Heffley brothers.
