In 1940s Los Angeles, where humans and cartoon characters live side by side, toon-hating PI Eddie Valiant stumbles on a conspiracy when he is investigating whether the wife of toon star Roger Rabbit is having an affair. This film noir comedy offers a highly original and brilliantly made mix of live action and animation. The technical quality of the visuals may not be today's standard, but the interaction between the humans and toons still looks amazingly seemless.
