Benny has put his own life on hold to take care of Joon, his unstable younger sister. Things take a turn when Sam, an eccentric drifter, enters their lives. This is a warm and likeable romantic comedy drama about two peculiar individuals who find comfort in each other. However, the film's portrayal of mental illness is delusional, to say the least. Johnny Depp gives a lovely physical performance that draws influence from Buster Keaton, Charlie Chaplin, and Harold Lloyd.
