Danny Boyle's directorial debut is a fresh and enjoyable, darkly comedic thriller about three friends whose new flatmate dies and leaves behind a suitcase full of money. Their decision to keep the money and hide the body leads to increasing paranoia and violence. This sharply written and acted film is like a modern day version of The Treasure of the Sierra Madre.
