An uptight marketing executive is flying home to Chicago for Thanksgiving, but his travel plans turn into chaos, leaving him reluctantly paired with an overly chatty shower curtain ring salesman. The two men clash and bond as they make their way towards Chicago by every conceivable mode of transport. John Hughes' disarming comedy is brilliantly scripted, consistently hilarious, and unexpectedly moving, and it has deservedly become a Thanksgiving favourite. The characters are wonderfully drawn and perfectly played Steve Martin and John Candy.
