A young man is eager to build bridges with his father, who runs a crime operation in the rural parts of Pennsylvania. However, he comes to regret his decision when he discovers his old man's violent and ruthless nature. This crime drama is modest and slow-paced but well-acted. Christopher Walken's character is based on Bruce Johnston, a real-life criminal whose gang was active in Pennsylvania in the 1960 and 1970s. The events become increasingly grim towards the end.
