Stanley Ipkiss, a mild-mannered and shy bank clerk, discovers a mysterious wooden mask that transforms him into a confident, mischievous, and nearly indestructible alter ego. In the spirit of Who Framed Roger Rabbit?, this energetic film pays homage to Tex Avery's works and offers a mix of cartoon action and comedy. As the Mask, Jim Carrey is funny and wacky, but as Stanley, he is more awkward and cringey. Cameron Diaz makes a very memorable movie entrance. Based on the Dark Horse comic book series created by John Arcudi and Doug Mahnke.
